The Gospel According to Luke
(Geared for Young Adults but All are welcome)
We often think of the Christian gospel as a simple formula that gives us access to God through the forgiveness offered by Jesus. That of course is part of the gospel, but for the early church the gospel was the story of Jesus. More specifically it is the story of God becoming one of us and what he was able to accomplish as a result. The Bible gives us four versions of the Jesus story seen through four different eyes. Together we are going to discover Luke’s unique presentation of the Jesus story. *This new class will not begin until January 8, 2012.
