Pierre & Jeanine Bolduc

France:
Thank you for praying with us for funds to pay for our car - an essential part of the ministry. Last November about 40 men gathered at Casa Mia restaurant and listened to Canadian missionary Guy Leduc. We received good feedback from our guests. About 20 people from our church participated in our yearly distribution of 5000 calendars in 13 neighbourhoods of Noisy-le-Grand. We pray as they read the daily scripture meditation, that they will meet their Saviour. Pierre has 3 different house groups participating in a study "What does it mean to be a witness in my daily life." 3 new comers - university students have recently joined and have begun to attend church. Joel was home from Canada for Christmas holidays - In January Pierre's brother Guy came for a few weeks. Jeanine's sister and her family were with us between Christmas and New Years. We were spoiled! The Lord is at work in our families - but so many are still strangers to God's love and forgiveness.

Ken & Mary Ann Jolley

Caracas, Venezuela:
Ken will begin to teach with the satellite of the Seminario Evangélico de Caracas on Mar. 12, the Gospels and Book of Acts on Mon. and Thurs. evenings and Hermeneutics on Wed. evenings. Another pastor asked if he could send 15 people to the Thurs. class, but the room was full so a second class opened. The team continues to the end of July. Pray for Ken. On Friday's Ken and the Belkys work on a new fourth edition of the Kairos reader. The Kairos course is to prepare the church to be involved in the Great Commission. Their goal is to finish the Reader by Easter. May 17-22 Ken will be in Medellin, Colombia to supervise and coach a Kairos intensive course with the El Redil Problado church. We hope that a Kairos National co-ordinating team can be formed in Colombia. Two families of dear friends are moving from Venezuela to Canada to Kitchener Waterloo area and Montreal. They have secured residences and job interviews. Pray that they will find employment and a good church home and friends. Mary Ann will spend the month of May with her mother Bessie in Canada. Pray for her. Ken has been asked to give 2 workshops - one with upper class women on how to correctly interpret God's Word and one with a church on God's revealed plan and purpose from Genesis to Revelation - a four hr. workshop. Thank you for your prayers and financial help that enables us to be ambassadors in evangelism in Caracas.

Rob & Kathryn Fleming

Hitachinaka Ibaraki Ken,Japan
Thank all of you who prayed for us through the Mar. 22, 2011 earthquake in Japan. Since then there have been over 1800 aftershocks. On Feb. 11, 2012 we had a 5.1 aftershock. I, (Rob) am still involved in distributing running shoes/T shirts/soap/etc. to a village 200 km. north of here that was pretty much totally destroyed last year, hoping to plant the first church in this fishing village of (now) 8,000 which once had 20,000 people. I also will bring 200 warm blankets to Iwaki City 50 km. north of us - just south of the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant. We were on home assignment in Ontario for 3 months this summer, and helped Tess transition to Waterloo University to study biochemistry. She is enjoying dorm life and making friends. We are thankful that she has the opportunity to work for a landscaping company in Japan this summer. Grady is in grade 10 in Faith Academy in Manila. I (Kathryn) went to see him play basketball in the Far East Tournament for International high Schools in February. He was with us at Christmas. Julia graduates from grade 6 in March and enters Japanese junior high in April. Homework and piano practice keep her busy. She is a big help during our weekends of ministry. Oasis runs from 5:00 to 8:30 pm. every Sat. (3:00 to 6:30 am. EST). We would appreciate your prayers for us - I saw a 10 yr. old explain to her friend (a first time attendee) that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead - Nayumo almost 3 has been singing a song called "God's Family" at her daycare centre - and now all the children are singing it. Two sisters, to whom I showed passages from the book of Isaiah that tell the worthlessness of idols, and whom I am discipline were shocked. One girl took off her "power" bracelet and told me that she shouldn't wear it. Rob continues Sat/Sun. Oasis teaching Hitachi preaching, meeting with a young man for discipleship. God has promised in Isaiah 55 "the Word will not return empty, but accomplish the purpose for which I sent it.

News from Dr Andrew & Janet Wildsmith

Moffat Bible College, Kijabe, Kenya, Africa:
Our first semester at Scott was 15 weeks, ending the middle of December with exams. During the Christmas break we were grading exams and preparing for the next semester which began Jan. 16. I (Andrew) am teaching (1) African Christian Theology (2) the Pentateuch and Historical Literature. I also have the task of editing new issues of the Africa Journal of Evangelical Theology - AJET. There are 2 publications a year, but we have 6 issues to catch up - 2010, 2011, and 2012. Please pray for God's strength and wisdom. Janet is teaching (1) English Composition and (2) Academic Writing and Research. Many students struggle with English - their 3rd or 4th language - but their ability to read and write English is key to their studies. She is also teaching a course on Developing Mission Vision - cross-cultural Missions in local churches. Pray for her teaching and other ministries. By the end of the year we will have lost $475 - per month in financial income. Pray for additional supporting churches that God will see us through this ministry support cycle. We plan to be home summer school break of 2013 to see our family. Both James and David are working and involved in their churches. James is in Kingston and is studying Political Science on-line with Athabasca University of Alberta. David and his wife Erin live in New Hamburg. Erin studies at McMaster University.

Robert & Souad Helou

El Cajon (San Diego area) California (Lebanon)
Serving the Lord amongst the Chaldean community is a joy and a challenge. We want to praise the Lord for: All the people who responded to the Gospel in the 2 big outreach events in June and December; The 15 adults who obeyed the Lord in water baptism and shared their testimonies; 27 people who became new members; New people attending our Sunday Service, sometimes 150; The new outreach ministry at the Spring Valley Swap Meet is distributing Christian literature, New Testaments, booklets, and tracts in Arabic and Spanish; Brother Habil Yousif, our associate pastor taught about 30 people in discipleship classes; Growth in the spiritual lives of the ladies who attend the weekly Ladies Bible study led by Souad - average attendance about 15; The great response to the Word taught by Souad at a biweekly ladies meeting at the Orthodox church; The youth ministry led by Brother Habil and his wife, Sister Bella; The countless opportunities for evangelism the Lord gave us and other church members in visitation, counselling, distribution of Christian literature etc; and, The ESL classes which attracted a good number of Iraqi refugees. Some of them are attending church services. We thank all of you for your faithful support, prayers and continual love and encouragement.
